Eyam Guided Walk, Peak District: The Plague Village and The Quiet Dales

Grade: Moderate

Tuesday 5 July: 9.30am – 3.30pm

A varied guided walking from Eyam through the quieter dales to the south of the village. Eyam is well known for the part it played in the plague of 1665 when the people of the village self isolated in order to prevent the disease from spreading.

Derwent Edge and Lost Lad, Peak District

Grade: Moderate

Wednesday 6 July: 10am – 3pm

A walk from Derwent reservoir up onto Derwent Edge with its extensive views and fascinating range of gritsone tors. The walk descends via the viewpoint at Lost Lad to the reservoir below.

An 8.5 mile walk exploring Chatsworth Park and the surrounding area with splendid views of the iconic Chatsworth House on the banks of the River Derwent.

Peak District: Ringinglow, Ox Stones and Stanedge Pole

An 8 mile guided walk on the lesser known paths around Stanage Edge. Expect great views and quiet tracks.

Win Hill and Ladybower Guided Walk, Peak District

Wednesday 10 August 10am – 3pm

Win Hill dominates the skyline and the views from the top are simply stunning. The climb is well worth the effort for the extensive views along the Hope and Derwent Valleys.
