London’s Parks – Highgate to St James’: Guided Walk
A guided walk through London from the heights of Highgate Village walking through the green spaces of Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill, Regents Park, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James’s Park. This walk takes us across through the quietest and the busiest parts of London, through tranquil parkland with wonderful views across London to the centre, crossing Oxford Street, as we pass from one park to another. The great variety of spaces and areas give us a wonderful view of the centre of this busy city from a different and green perspective.
We will meet at Highgate Underground Station to begin our guided walk and finish at St James’s Park where it is a short walk to Charing Cross and Victoria BR and Underground Stations.
The walk is around 8 miles and after an initial descent from Highgate, the paths are mainly level.
The walk is led by experienced guide Barbara Hamilton who lives in the heart of London and has a wealth of local knowledge.
