There are so many well-known peaks accessible from our base in the Borrowdale Valley that it is difficult to choose which ones to tackle on this guided walking break. We will choose our peaks based on the weather on the day and the group. Possibilities include: Haystacks, Wainwright’s favourite peak; Great Gable; Green Gable; Red Pike; High Spy, Scafell Pike…the list goes on.

A good level of fitness is required for this one as you will be tackling some big peaks which, whilst mainly on good paths, have elements of loose ground plus some basic scrambling for short sections.

We will be staying at the Glaramara Hotel which has been transformed over the last few years into an extremely comfortable hotel with an excellent menu and bar. The 3 course evening meals are a highlight and a welcome treat after a day on the high fells. The holiday is full board so once you’re there you will spend very little.

Single Ensuite £885 Twin Shared Ensuite £80 discount per person Included in Price: Full board accommodation; Transport to walks; Guided walks each day led by a highly experienced mountain leader Not included: Transport to venue; Insurance; Personal expenses
We will be staying at the very comfortable Glaramara Hotel in Seatoller at the head of the Borrowdale Valley. It has been completely refurbished over recent years with excellent 3 course dinners and a good bar on site.
