£595.00
Set between Dartmoor and the Devon coast, Dartington is a perfect centre from which to explore this scenic area of South West England. To the south we have the south west coast with its many beautiful beaches, as well as the river Dart that leads down to Dartmouth. To the north lies Dartmoor with a totally different landscape wrapped in history with ancient woodlands and wild, open moors.
Our walks will take us to a variety of settings including an excursion on foot along the River Dart, a section of the SW Coast Path (not too many ups and downs compared to some parts!) and a walk on the evocative moors of Dartmoor.
This holiday will be based at Dartington Hall, near Totnes in Devon. Once a progressive school with a strong interest in the arts, the beautiful old buildings and mature gardens remain a vibrant centre for a wide variety of creative activities for all ages. Totnes itself is well known as a charming historic town with a forward-thinking outlook. There is something for everybody here, from the multitude of alternative therapies on offer to the numerous Norman, Medieval and Tudor buildings.
