Eyam, known as “the plague village”, is in an idyllic location with access to both Dark Peak and White Peak scenery. The Dark Peak is made up of heather moorland and imposing gritsone edges and the White Peak, in contrast, is a landscape of limestone dales, drystone-walled tracks and country lanes. The variety of walks is a real bonus and we will be choosing the best possible routes for both the leisurely walkers and the moderate group. The itinerary is flexible but may include Eyam Moor, Hathersage, Stanage Edge, Chatsworth House grounds, Cressbrook Dale…the list goes on.

We stay at Eyam Youth Hostel where we have exclusive use with shared and single rooms available. We have our own cook on site and the holiday is full board. There is a 2 course evening meal and breakfast and packed lunch are provided on a help yourself basis.

£625 Single occupancy dormitory £125 per person discount in a shared dormitory. If there is nobody to share a room with, then the single occupancy price will apply. Price includes: 4 nights' full board accommodation; afternoon coffee and cake; guided walks each day; transport as required Not included: travel to Eyam, personal expenses, insurance
We have exclusive use of Eyam Youth Hostel with single occupancy rooms available. The hostel is within walking distance of the village and sits on a quiet hillside. There is a games room with pool table.
There will be a choice of walks each day. Leisurely walks are up to 6 miles and there will be a degree of ascent and descent due to the location. The walks are not flat by any means but we will take any gradients at a suitably leisurely pace. Moderate walks are between 8 and 12 miles with ascents ranging from 300 to 500 metres. You need to have a reasonable level of fitness to enjoy this grade.
The holiday will be guided by Clare Kelly and Debbie Walker. Both are qualified Mountain Leaders with many years' experience of guiding holidays both in the UK and further afield.
