Hope Valley, Peak District Grade: Moderate
£560.00
A Peak District walking holiday that explores some of the quieter, less well-trodden paths of the Hope Valley and surrounding area. Our guided walking break will avoid the main honey pots of the Hope Valley and concentrate on the wonderful mix of moorland and limestone scenery available from the door of our accommodation. The holiday is based in Bradwell, tucked away off the beaten track but still easily accessible. We will walk through the beautiful limestone landscape criss- crossed by dry stone walls surrounding lush green fields. Our walks will also take in the brooding moors above the village with fantastic views over the Hope Valley and beyond. We will also get a close-up view of the more industrial side of the Peak District with its multitude of quarries, some now abandoned and some still worked.
PLEASE NOTE: This holiday is limited to 5 people so please book ahead.
