Nature and Art – A Journey through the Seasons
Join us in the Peak District for a series of workshops with artist Colette Cameron to capture the sights, sounds, and smells of the seasons. The workshops are an opportunity to relax, unwind and simply connect with nature. By really stopping and looking at our surroundings, we will gain a different perspective on our natural world. The workshops are suitable for all abilities including complete beginners. All materials provided. The walk will be between 3 and 5 miles on good paths.
There are 8 workshops in 2020 over 4 weekends each looking at a different season through the changes in the landscape around us.
Day 1 is an exploration and creative response to the season using sketching.
Day 2 offers a chance to go deeper with the theme, and explore what that season means for you personally using words, memories, symbols, etc woven into visual responses.
The two days can stand alone or follow on.
Summer Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August
