A relaxing, “get away from it all”, break in the beautiful Norfolk Broads National Park with its miles of navigable waterways. We will be taking leisurely strolls and enjoying the surrounding countryside without the need to rush. This is a wonderful area within reach of both the stunning Norfolk coast and the beautiful Broads where the birdlife is abundant and the footpaths follow the many waterways and cross wide expanses of open countryside. There are far reaching views with a tranquil air to it all!

We will visit Hickling Broad, the largest broad in the National Park and enjoy typical “broadland” scenery – expanses of water fringed with reeds. On one day, we will visit Horsey, a small village with an unusual Saxon church and a traditional village pub. From here we will head to the coast path where we hope to see the grey seal colony. This is amongst the most accessible sites in the world to see seal pups so fingers crossed that we will enjoy some fabulous sightings.

We will be based at the very welcoming Breathing Space, a secluded location specifically for women, set in private grounds with its very own lake. The lounge area has a wood burner, providing a warm glow to our winter evenings. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day out in the fresh air. Meals are lovingly prepared using local produce and are a delight! There are a wide range of extras available at Breathing Space including massage, yoga, reiki, reflexology, etc. If you are interested in booking just let us know.

Norfolk Broads and Coast 2021

The walking on this holiday is easy going and virtually flat throughout. We will be walking along the coast both on the beach and the coast path; we will be following waterways and walking through nature reserves with few if any gradients involved.
Mill Farm Eco Barn is a luxury, modern eco barn set in a secluded spot with long views over open country and towards the sea. The barn is spacious with an open plan living area downstairs. A wood burning fire gives a warm glow and there is a separate games barn with pool table, etc. All rooms are either ensuite or have a private bathroom next door. For further information:
Your guide for this holiday is Clare Kelly.
