Photography Workshop: Landscape, Trees and Plants
Join photographer Fran Halsall for a photography workshop in Padley Gorge SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), a wonderful example of upland oak-birch woodland that is famed for its ancient coppiced oaks. We will be exploring the unique challenges of woodland photography, concentrating on optimising lighting conditions and how to compose striking tree and plant portraits. This workshop is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions and enjoy learning more about photographing our beautiful countryside. The workshop involves a circular walk of 2 to 3 miles.
Meeting Point: Grindleford Station Cafe. Trains from Sheffield arrive at 9:30 so there’ll be time for a hot drink. Trains from Manchester arrive at 9:50 and we’ll head off at 10:00. Parking available – £2 payable by card.
