Jersey sits in the Bay of St Malo - just 14 miles (22 km) from the French coast and 85 miles (137 km) south of the English coast. For an island that is only 5 miles (8 km) long and 9 miles (14.5 km) wide there is a huge variety of walking to enjoy. There are dramatic headlands, rugged coastlines and pretty green lanes to discover.

Edale Navigation Course, Peak District          Grade: Moderate

1-4 November 2019 - 3 nights

Based in the idyllic Peak District village of Edale, this course covers map reading and compass skills with plenty of time to practice in the outdoors. The area is beautiful and we will spend much of our time exploring, on and off path, on the iconic Peak District plateau of Kinder Scout.

9-13 November 2019 - 4 nights

A relaxing, "get away from it all", break in the beautiful Norfolk Broads National Park with its miles of navigable waterways. We will be taking leisurely strolls and enjoying the surrounding countryside without the need to rush.

Set between Dartmoor and the Devon coast, Dartington is a perfect centre from which to explore this area. To the south we have the south west coast with its many beautiful beaches, as well as the river Dart that leads down to Dartmouth. To the north lies Dartmoor with a totally different landscape wrapped in history with ancient woodlands and wild open moors.

13 - 19 June 2020 - 6 nights

The Fife peninsula sits just above Edinburgh and below Dundee and is a delightfully scenic destination with plenty to offer the visitor. There are miles of golden sand beaches, traditional harbours, quaint villages and a stunning coastal path. Add to that the hidden gem which is the Isle of May and the historic university town of St Andrews and you have the makings of a fabulous holiday.

A wonderful opportunity to explore this historic and atmospheric area with a knowledgeable guide who knows the place well. Our series of walks will take us to some beautiful locations to soak up the atmosphere of times gone by and breathe in the fresh sea air.
