Join Clare to celebrate Her on a Hill’s 7th anniversary. This walk is short but sweet taking in some stunning landscape features. The walk starts in Grindleford where there is both a train station and a cafe and from there heads through silver birch woodland to the rugged Millstone Edge which is topped by the splendid Over Owler Tor. From this high point we descend via Mother Cap to walk through the beautiful oak woodland of Padley Gorge.

Grade: Low Moderate.  The walk is 5 miles with 300 metres of ascent taken at a leisurely pace in order to enjoy the surroundings to the full. The walk is on sometimes rough footpaths and some  quiet, minor roads.
